PlanetPlugged: How did you get into the modeling scene? Were you discovered by someone or is this something you always wanted to do?

Nani: I've been in modeling and acting since I was 4. When I turned 15 my mom wanted me to stop for awhile, because she didn't like the idea of me being in bathing suits, etc at such a young age. She was afraid of the over exposure of my body. Now that I am 18 and mostly independent, I can make decisions about my life on my own. I was online one day, and found myself on onemodelplace.com and I registered for it, from there I have been offered work and also a contract with importmodz.com. All of this happened just in Oct 2003.

PlanetPlugged: Describe a time when you used your intuition to good results in support of a project.

Nani: For every project, I make sure I know what the photographer/company is trying to accomplish. Good communication is always important in creating great photos for the both the model and photographer! My intuition alone, nor just the photographers will create stunning photos. Teamwork is essential for this process.

PlanetPlugged: Would you describe yourself as a risk taker or someone who plays it safe?

Nani: I am definitely a risk taker. I can't help it, I'm an Aries <smile> I love taking risks and overcoming challenges. I was never the shy person in any situation. Playing it safe is never fun..

PlanetPlugged: What are your current projects?

Nani: As of right now, I've just been keeping it easy, with few photo shoots with local photographers and small parts in music videos.
