Technology In The Shoes So I bet you’ve seen a lot of people on the streets, in the shopping mall, and especially the gym with these strange looking shoes with springs in the back. Well, believe it or not, those little springs do have a purpose. When running, our foot rolls heel to toe. Ok so now that you have taken a second to try this out I can continue. Much like the idea behind Nike Air bubbles and the shocks on your car, Nike has one thing in mind: Enhanced cushioning! Running can be very taxing and sometimes even damaging to your knee and hip joints as well as your spine. However, what are you going to do, tell people not to run? No way, lets keep them running and take cushioning and comfort to the highest degree possible. Hence, Nike presented its solution: Nike Shox.
