How Today's Man Has Evolved continued...

     2) My mother used to ask me, "Why are you wearing such cute, colorful, and sexy underwear when no one is going to see them?" My response, "because I feel sexier wearing them". This inner feeling of sexiness exudes confidence on the outside. I feel sexier just wearing them, even if I'm sporting baggy sweats. Men are the same. The dreaded front pocket tightie-whities were functional, but definitely not sexy. Men wore these to prevent gravity from tugging on their family jewels. Boxers were much sexier on a shirtless chiseled body, but were too loose for any support. At times, they bunched up underneath pants (I still don't understand how men aren't constantly picking merfs). Mr. Calvin Klein revolutionized men's underwear with the birth of the boxer brief. Part whities, part boxers. They offer the support that men need as well as being sexy enough to leave little to the imagination. It cradles the jewels and hugs the bum.

    3) Stylish name brand sunglasses. The days of cheap black plastic Ray-bans are over. There are so many brands and styles to choose from. Each shape compliments a different face. Each color compliments a different skin tone. Each style suits a different lifestyle. No self respecting Metro would have only one pair. You've got to have your daily driving glasses. These usually are plain-wired frames with dark lenses to block the sun. Then there are the sporty glasses. These are worn outdoors at the beach, in the park, playing b-ball, washing your car…anything that requires body movement. Usually the style of choice is aviator wrap around "Oakley" looking. Then there are the night glasses. Honestly these make no sense to me. Why would you need sunglasses at night? (Flashing back to 80's hit I wear my sunglasses at night) Obviously it's to look cool, and is usually designer brands like Gucci or Emporio Armani. This is where you can get funky, and live out all your John Travolta fantasies without looking dumb, since you already look dumb wearing sunglasses at night. You're best pick would probably be a rimless, square, gradient lens. The gradient has enough darkness to cover your eyes but enough lightness on the bottom for you to see where you're walking in the club, plus its very retro Hollywood producer glam.
