PlanetPlugged: What groups are you currently associated with and working with? Angelzero: The only active collaboration I am pursuing at this time is with Controlled Substance…we are making tracks as "Illformants" together. I think that the stuff we come up with is as creative and more inspiring to me than my own solo work. PlanetPlugged:What music are you currently working on, and what are your future plans and goals? Angelzero: Recently we (Illformants) have completed a couple new bits that we are pretty excited about, and should see a release very soon. For my own solo work, I'm currently playing around with different styles of music, perhaps more so now than in the last few years. Ive never been devoted to one genre of music, and I will never be. I find that it is necessary for me to try new and different things in the studio, or I get burned out, locked into a musical rut that holds no inspiration or creativity for me. As for the future, I have always dreamed of collaborating with someone who has a passion for creating startling or beautiful video images, to ultimately design a multi-sensory experience that will capture and overwhelm the viewer.
